Crosstown is a scratch bakery. We roll our dough by hand. We make all of our jams, compotes, fillings, glazes and toppings in-house, fresh every day, using the finest ingredients we can find to deliver real, honest flavour. It’s a lot of extra work, but we believe the results speak for themselves. Quality should never be compromised no matter the quantity, although both can exist at the same time. We think our doughnuts pair perfectly to specialty coffee, which is why we serve them together where we can. We call this #craftbycrosstown

We launched in 2014 as a market stall on Leather Lane, a historic London market founded in the 1600’s – we were the first street food trader to accept card payments with no minimum and no additional charge (including American Express!). It’s strange to think that this was not the norm at the time. We now have sixteen locations, many of which are cashless. We respect history, and embrace future progression.
We created our signature hybrid sourdough – the world’s first yeast-raised sourdough base that we have become renowned for. In 2017, we created a vegan hybrid sourdough offering that is as delicious as the original. We pride ourselves on bringing together interesting, complimentary ingredients from around the world from season to season, to satisfy tastebuds all day and all year round.
